Yue is a senior research scientist who conducts quantitative analyses for health care and public health projects. Her expertise includes program evaluation, study design, data collection and management, data analytics, and statistical analysis. Gao's work has been published in several peer-reviewed journals such as JAMA Network Open, Health Services Research, Medical Care, Journal of General Internal Medicine, and Diabetes Care.
Her major projects at NORC include the CMS Next Generation Accountable Care Organization (ACO) Model Evaluaiton, CMS ACO REACH Model Evaluation, AHRQ Safety Program for Improving Antibiotic Use, AHRQ Safety Program for MRSA Prevention, and AHRQ Estimating the Additional Hospital Inpatient Cost and Mortality Associated with Selected Hospital Acquired Conditions.
Prior to joining NORC, Yue served as a senior statistician in the Department of Medicine at the University of Chicago. She also worked as a public health analyst in a consulting firm.
