Rina Dhopeshwarkar

Rina focuses on evaluations and strategic planning for using health information technology and digital health innovations in health care delivery and patient-centered research.

Rina is a mixed-methods researcher who has led projects related to health information technology (health IT), digital health innovation, and data infrastructure at NORC over the past 10 years.

Rina has conducted research and strategic planning efforts on improving data infrastructure available for patient-centered outcomes research, evaluation and advancement of the use of patient-centered clinical decision support to promote evidence-based care delivery, and health information exchange. She has led projects for federal and state-based clients including Agency for Healthcare Research and Quality (AHRQ), Assistant Secretary for Planning and Evaluation (ASPE), New York eHealth Collaborative (NYeC), as well as the Patient-Centered Outcomes Research Institute (PCORI). 

Prior to joining NORC, Rina worked at the Center for Health Informatics and Policy at Weill Cornell Medical College where she coordinated several AHRQ-funded grants and New York State Department of Health funded evaluations of New York State's health IT infrastructure projects funded through the Healthcare Efficiency and Affordability Law for New Yorkers (HEAL-NY).
