Laurie manages complex health care research projects for a variety of clients.

Laurie manages health care research projects, including survey data collection, dissemination and implementation efforts, and evaluation studies. Laurie has over 20 years of experience working with clients such as the Agency for Healthcare Research and Quality, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, and American Medical Association to implement complex projects.

Laurie currently serves as project manager on the Evaluating the Cost Effectiveness of STEADI Older Adult Fall Prevention in Primary Care Settings study working with CDC to examine the cost effectiveness of a clinical fall prevention initiative. She is also Resource Center Project Manager on AHRQ’s Managing Unhealthy Alcohol Use in Primary Care project, managing all resource center activities, including the environmental scan and learning community. Laurie also serves as the project director on the Validated Device Listing project, supporting the AMA and AHA in their efforts to develop and maintain a listing of blood pressure devices that have been validated for clinical accuracy.

Laurie has previously managed data collection on surveys of health care consumers, as well as physicians and physician organizations, utilizing various modes including focus groups, cognitive interviews, telephone interviews, in-person interviews and mail surveys.
