Her research focuses on the social determinants of health (SDoH) and wellness and the intersection between structural racism and spatial disparities, the intersection of institutions’ policies, behaviors, and resource availability and accessibility. She has extensive experience in community-engaged research, quantitative methodologies and analyses, and geospatial methodologies and analyses.
Jocelyn was a principal investigator for the ARC - Chicago Community Alliance partnership with the Hospice and Palliative Care Foundation (HAP). She holds an MPH in community health sciences and receiving her PhD in Epidemiology from the University of Illinois at Chicago.
